Join our friendly community of volunteers
Are you interested in joining our friendly community of volunteers?
The Toronto Consort has a dedicated community of over sixty volunteers to provide front of house services to our concert patrons. Like most non-profit performing arts companies, ticket sales and donations make up only a fraction of the financial resources it takes to operate our company. In order for The Toronto Consort to fulfill its public service mission of offering affordable ticket prices, we rely on volunteers who provide hundreds of hours of customer service over our 12-concert season, running October to May annually.
Volunteer time, commitment, positive attitude, and personal support of The Toronto consort and the work we produce, allows us to provide a warm and welcoming environment, and top-quality patron service. Volunteers are critical to the smooth operations of each performance:
- Assisting with pre-performance set-up
- Greeting patrons as they arrive
- Assisting patrons with finding their seating location
- Monitoring patrons during the performance
- Helping with intermission snack concession sales
- Assisting with post performance clean up

No previous experience is necessary. We are looking for volunteers with passion and curiosity for early music, who are reliable and committed, as well as friendly, courteous, and respectful with our patrons.
